Project Description: Sandy hillside, difficult for turf grass to establish

Total acres managed: 1/10 acres

Goal:

  • Reduce soil erosion

  • Maintenance free

  • Esthetically pleasing with various native flowers

Timeline:

  • Area planted 2023

  • On-going management through 2027

Results:

  • Established beyond expectation for a first year planting

  • Increased wildlife viewing of deer and turkey

  • Increased soil stability, no washouts
